Are you playing to win? Or are you playing not to lose?
Both have the same goal – WIN.
However, each has a very different way of getting there.
When you play to win, you’re on offense. Strategic. The ball is in your court. You’re in more control. You get to lead the pack. And even when you mess up, you’ve got a distinct advantage over the competition because you’re making short-term and long-term decisions that will put you back on top.
Playing not to lose? That’s a different story. You’re on defense and will do everything you can in the short term to catch up. The thing is…there is a pretty darn good chance you’ll be trying to catch up for a long time.
